- This book not worth time and money, American Buddies! Full of lies about best President, Comrade Trump! Do not read these fabrications, is more rotten than last week's borscht! Stick with A+ wonderful Fox News, as American as Michael Jackson, Baseball, and the pie made from the apples!
Your Triple 100% American Friend wants best for you! - I’m about 15 pgs into the PDF and I’m stunned. I can’t believe this is all happening in my lifetime. Honestly, I’ll probably skip through a lot of the commentary in this (and maybe even buy a more raw version as it continues to be released on kindle) but I’m just relieved that it’s been sent to kindle so fast. I almost tried to convert the version I had, myself, but the file size is too big. I’ll spend all day reading this, tomorrow. Thanks, WaPo!
4/21 - EDIT TO ADD The laying out of the “cast of characters†is outstanding! It gives so much context to the timeline for the last two years of activity. PUBLISHERS PLEASE UPDATE THE VERSIONS OF THIS REPORT AS CONGRESS PRESSES FOR MORE SECTIONS TO BECOME UNREDACTED! We need to see the prosecutorial conclusions of the Special Council! - I downloaded the free pdf edition, plus I purchased this edition, as well as the audiobook edition. Why? Because I lived through Watergate. I, as well as any American, well understand the potential impact of this investigation and just how many years into our future this report might define our nation’s political battleground.
And, make no doubt about it, it COULD be the opening shots in America’s Second Civil War. The question before us is this Will our second civil war be similar to 1860, or will it be more akin to our Cold War with the Soviet Union?
Okay, that could all be an over-statement. With our current President first welcoming the Mueller Report as “Totally exonerating Mr. Trump,†then alleging that those who aided Mueller as being ‘Traitors,’ I don’t believe it possible to out Trump the President.
To quickly learn just why Mr. Trump has done such an about face, skip forward to the beginning of Volume Ii. You will note just how serious the warranted charges against the President are, or could be, if the House of Representatives does proceed with impeachment.
Further, Republicans in the Senate must be quaking in their boots. If they stand by the Prseident, they risk massive defeat in 2020. If the stand for justice under the law, many will be forced to vote for conviction, which could earn them the wrath of a failed and betrayed President and members of their own party. No stand is easy for them to take, so...
BOTTOM LINE
This is a rather dry read, but it is a must-read book of historical value.
Five stars out of five. - Yesterday’s PDF was difficult to read because it was just a scanned non-OCR document. No matter which App or platform (desktop with Adobe Reader or iPad Air or iPad Pro 12.9 with , Books, eBook, PDF, or Adobe), it was very difficult to read unless you zoom and pan every page. And I could not highlight or take notes easily. With this WaPo version, it is so much easier to read. X-Ray function of is very useful because there are too many names for me to remember.
- If you're not interested in the accompanying analysis (or prefer to read the report and then the analysis like this reader), from the table of contents you can click the link to be taken directly to the report section. Swipe, swipe, click and you're there.
- Even though I have not read this entire ebook as yet, I am highly satisfied with the purchase. This ebook contains the entire two-volume Mueller findings—Report on the Investigation Into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election—that was released on April 18, 2019 along with several additional articles and relevant documents. The formatting for works well, with all the features that a normal ebook would offer including increasing text size and entering personal notes. The entire ebook is searchable, which I find enormously helpful. The footnote links toggle correctly, and the redacted highlights are distinctive and easily differentiated from my own highlights. For me, the convenience of the features plus the extra articles and references, make this Mueller Report by the Washington Post staff well worth the cost. I am especially pleased that it has been released in such a timely manner. Highly recommend.
- Analysis of The Mueller Report frequently references page numbers of the document. This addition does not include page numbers associated with the original document, only locations.
- I have just started reading the report. After struggling to read the original versions that were available, I am grateful to have this easy to read version. Thank you so much for making this version available so quickly .
